Pandor's Box

Joan Jackson, Amazon
23 February 2014
  • Summary: The case was cracked and there were a few scratches on the disk. It plays good most of the time, sometimes a bit jerky. I did enjoy it however.

Puzzle game that engulfs you in foreign lands!

Candace B. Pinaud "Leave No Stone", Amazon
19 February 2007
  • Summary: I loved this game from the first time I ever played it. The puzzles are quite fun and get more difficult as your level of play increases. I love that you are engulfed in the land you are playing in the puzzle. You are shown scenes from around the world broken down into fun puzzles that keep you challenged all the way until the end of the game.

Endlessly Diverting Puzzles

Cathytg "cathytg", Amazon
19 June 2006
  • Summary: Pandora's Box is a cornucopia of puzzles, put together with a slender framing device. You're attempting to recapture the escaped trickster figures from several world mythologies -- each suite of puzzles solved earns you a segment of a little trickster story, and at the end of each level you solve a more challenging puzzle to capture the trickster and move on to the next.

  • Summary: I think this is a great game, very challenging, I think it could be a little more fantastical, because you are dealing with pandora's box, but it is a very good game.

Puzzling!

Dana Simpson-Stokes, Amazon
24 November 2000
  • Summary: At first I was slightly annoyed that all the puzzles were purely graphic-- I was hoping that there would be brain teasers and logic games and such as well. But the puzzles are gorgeous, addictive, and incredibly calming. Whenever I get stressed out, I like to play this game. A few puzzle types got a little redundant, but overall it's a pretty addictive program.

Beware! Addiction level:High!

Tarun Pall "tarunthegreat", Amazon
9 June 2000
  • Summary: This game had great graphics, effects and sound for a puzzle game! The puzzles were pretty interesting, and fun to do, though in the higher stages, I felt that luck had a lot more to do with winning than thinking about it, but hey it's a game. A great way to pass the time!

The first Puzzle Game I liked!

I. K. Peters, Amazon
1 March 2000
  • Summary: This is a thoroughly addictive game. The graphics are great, and the puzzles are neither too easy nor too difficult. But it does get progessively harder and more complex the more puzzles one solves... One drawback (and the reason for only 4 stars) is that I have to completely exit each and every application running at the time, even those in the background (that's right: CTRL-ALT-DEL and close everything in the list except for Explorer and Systray) before I can play...
