Terrible Game

Mike O., Newegg
20 May 2007
  • Summary: Steer clear of this game. There is nothing good about it, unless you enjoy repetitive shooters that throw the same mindless enemies at you in a very boring fashion. Other games do these very same things and manage to make them fun.
  • Pros: Umm... You can uh... And then uh... Yeah, can't think of anything.
  • Cons: It *tries* to be a fast paced shooter. It succeeds in that department, but the gameplay is bland and unimaginative. After playing two levels of this and found myself bored to tears on how easy it was and how boring the gameplay was, I tried the multiplayer. The official patches that I downloaded ...

  • Summary: I absolutely hated the repetitive nature of this game. Basically, walls appear, you shoot everything, walls go down, & repeat. No innovation. Save your money.

  • Summary: I give 1 because it has realy some good graphics . But that was all . It has the most boring gameplay I have ever seen in a so called "hit" game . You can find a corner switch the first weapon and hold the mouse key. Eventualy everyone will get killed .

  • Summary: my son and husband love this game.unfortunately, for whatever reason,to be able to play some of the games you need to download "patches" before you can play them, and so far we haven't been able to find patches for the whole collection so therefore can't play the full games.

Beware !

P. Moyes, Amazon
14 January 2006
  • Summary: If you purchase this item you will have to go on STEAM and the INTERNET. I believed that it gave the computer a nasty virus because of this. Not an individual player game.

Tedious in the extreme

Amazon
11 January 2005
  • Summary: I bought this thinking that it would be an atmospheric game with good action, what I got was a boring repetitive game with no plot or sense. Although the graphics are superb it still does not hold your attention beyond killing random enemies. Not a good purchase.

  • Summary: Having played just about every FPS that has ever been produced, I was looking forward to Painkiller after reading some of the previews. Sadly, after 15 min playing this game I was very disappointed. If, you enjoy repitition, and most likely the worse AI ever seen - Painkiller is the game for you.

Painkiller problems

Amazon
27 April 2004
  • Summary: Having bought the retail version of this (rather than just playing thedemo), I am sorry to say that it is really still only a beta version. Itis riddled with bugs and crashes more frequently than any other game Ihave paid good money for.
