Summary: This is an average HOG. Strange bizarre story using tattoos as the main plot...it had spirits, strange island & rituals, tattoos, just weird concepts. The story didn't captivate me and was all a bit silly. Graphics were average as well as things like music, sound, effects, etc. I found the native resolution of this game was quite small (like 640x480). When played on windowed mode, it was too small.
Summary: I am giving Stained Skin four stars for the following reasons. The artwork is superb, the colours, the atmosphere and also many different locations. The game play is not too bad, and you can choose expert or standard mode, so to avoid the glitter etc. play in expert mode. I played this in standard mode. It is a fairly easy game, and quite relaxing as the objects are easy to find.
Summary: Two glum tattooed characters go in search of a plot to hold this adventure-HOG together. The man, Victor, wakes up on an island with a tattoo on his arm, and no idea how it got there. (And no, he's not in the Navy). What follows is a troublesome storyline with him and his equally unsympathetic character of a girlfriend. The advanced mode is challenging enough, scenery is plentiful and well-drawn, HO scenes are clear enough, puzzles are okay.
Summary: Enjoyed the game a lot. I do agree that the easy/hard choice should have been better balanced. Easy was very easy/hard was to hard for me. However, I certainly did not find it " a mess of a game" like the reviewer did. Rather enjoyed it.
Summary: doesn't like the story. It seems to be rush but the idea putting 2 heroes in game was great. the puzzles fun and not to hard to solve too. I don't like the graphics even though it's beautiful but it seems kind off to me.
Summary: I very much enjoyed the game, once I got used to the different ways of finding objects. This game is more of an adventure game with HO scenes and puzzles added. I liked the unique style of this game right from the start. It was not your standard "search and find" game, but had much more to offer. I also liked that when you clicked on objects, question marks are thrown at you and land in your inventory.
Summary: This game is like a giant bag of potato chips: you're only going to play for a couple of minutes. Then a couple more... then a few more... next thing you know, you're down to the bottom of the bag (or end of the game) and you feel like an idiot. But it was a tasty journey, and at least it didn't blow my diet.
