Summary: A classic game of all time, and the best fighting game of all time. It's amazing that a game covering almost all the items in regard to modern combat namely: Special Operations, infantry, armor, helicopters and airplanes and some ships, participating in person with them, or command them directly or indirectly. But the most important is the ability to extend all this amazing virtual world by adding: (.
Summary: Played this game for years when it first came out. I still can spend hours playing this game threw just the campaign, single missions, and mission editor. This is not a first person shooter, this is a military simulator. Graphics are 12 years old so don't expect to be playing ARMA 3 which I can't wait for. Describing this game to someone who hasn't played it?
Summary: Up front I will say that I have always disliked FPS. I have been playing war-games in one format or another for the past 40+ years but it always seemed to me that the replay value of most FPS games wore out in a short period of time. I first learned of OFPR and its sequels when I viewed some videos of them on YouTube, so I thought I would give them a try.
Summary: The game is great! It does not look much like the original Flashpoint or Arma which is good coz we do not need another clone. It's strog points are: - good graphics (looking even somewhat better than Red River), - good phisics, - great realistic sounds and sound effects (something that Arma series still cannot acheive), - and (my favourite)the special effects, like explosions, bullet hits, looking very realistic!!!
