Summary: I have played Arma II all the way through played DR all the way along with all the COD, but this one I am just about to give up on it. You play for 30 minuets get hit by a mortar and have to play the whole thing over no personal saves.
Pros: In single player the AI is better than the previous game DR the video and game play are very good not quite to COD standards but story line makes up for that and you are free to move around as you like. You can heal fellow teammates and yourself.
Cons: No fairness in combat one hit and your down, they are deadly accurate seam to shoot through walls at times you die a lot. When shooting them it takes a least 3 hits for a kill and you must expose yourself to fire. If you see one in the open you aim and fire but your shot don't count you are insta...
Summary: Gave it second chance after being hugely disappointed by Dragon Rising. Hasn't changed much - very restrictive gameplay - and cant drive all vehicles. This game is dated by release Back to Arma
Summary: This game has Operation Flashpoint in the title I expected more, do not be confused with what it says on the box this is no open world game, it's very much a corridor shooter along the lines of COD without the special effects and scripting.
Summary: I was looking for a good, realistic military shooter, since I had been very dissapointed with the Call of Duty series. I thought those were childish games, totally unrealistic commando crap. So I was looking forward to this one with very high expectations. I was totally dissapointed.
Summary: Just not a very well thought out game. Playing a death match or co-op game is such a pain to connect. With today's technology it s/b very easy to connect with another player. The developers have made so difficult that by the time you figure it out you do not want to play anymore.
Summary: pc controls were a bit clumsy and I never finished the game because of it, the graphics was outstanding similar to Battlefield 2. I have no tips to contribute to, I probably will finish the game later but this was not in my personal top 20
