Summary: Maybe the most underrated game of all time. Absolutely sublime from start to finish. Funny while remaining serious. Think I'll reinstall. One of the greatest examples of all time of substance over style. And its got more style and surprises than a supermodel's birthday cake. Whatever that meant, if you are even moderately interested in action/stealth and love games that push beyond the routine, buy this now.
Summary: From a sequel standpoint? It has done no wrongeth. The trouble with Cate Archer's character here, is lack of consistent substance that actually made her back-chatter reasonably charming and subsequently funny. Their seems to be a whole lot more tongue in cheek here, but to a degree that I found less endearing. It starts off with the campy flavor of Japan, accompanied by stealthily fighting all-female ninjas, and general espionage.
Summary: Why don't they make first person shooters with this much personality anymore? It's ten years after it's release and I enjoy this more than any shooter from the last few years. I tend to ignore most FPS games now, expecting them to be shallow, repetitive and lacking any real character, but not NOLF2. It's got more personality and more of an enjoyment factor than all of the CoD (or whatever other FPS games are popular nowadays) wrapped into one.
Summary: Really enjoyed this classic FPS. Hardcore gamers wont be disappointed. i highly recommend purchasing. Graphics are great, story-line is solid (and not so short) , audio is excellent and the price is right.
Summary: I bought this came years ago and I have played it over and over and over because it is so good. Coming from the same people that brought you the game FEAR. To me this is a far better video game then FEAR though! It makes you laugh, its so much fun to play and there is so much to this game. I had scratched the first disk and was dead set on having the game again because of how good it was. Its compatible with Windows Versions XP, Vista and even the new Windows 7.
Summary: I still recall this as one of the best FPS I've ever played. I would love to see this IP revisited with a new game. Great storyline, stealth modes and spy gadgets. It was as close as you can get to being in a 60's spy movie.
Summary: It's now 7 years after this game came out, but in case you're new to the NOLF series and would like to give this game a try, here's a review from someone who thoroughly played through many of the best FPS over the past decade (HL 1/2, NOLF 1/2, FEAR, Deus Ex 1/2, numerous WWII shooters, etc). I notice a number of 1-star reviews, so I looked over them before giving my own take. First of all, half of the complaints deal with hardware incompatibility.
