No One Lives Forever 2

The Gamers Temple
19 June 2003
  • Excerpt: The first No One Lives Forever game was known for its originality, humor, and fun gameplay.  No One Lives Forever 2: A Spy in H.A.R.M.'S Way (NOLF2), does a great job of maintaining the standards set by its predecessor, and action gamers should not miss this thoroughly enjoyable sequel.

  • Excerpt: No One Lives Forever 2: A Spy in H.A.R.M.'s Way is the sequel to No One Lives Forever - one of the most crucially acclaimed first person shooters to come around in a long time. No One Lives Forever 2 is a game that comes out of the pretty same mold that made the original such a hit. Once again you play the role as Cate Archer, a sexy, fabulous and deadly British secret agent who returns to stamp out the evil forces of H.A.R.M.!

  • Excerpt: What might be considered the Austin Powers of spy-themed videogames, No One Lives Forever 2: A Spy in H.A.R.M.'s Way is actually much more sophisticated than Mike Meyers movies--but no less campy.

No One Lives Forever 2

PLANET42
8 December 2002
  • Excerpt: Cate Archer returns in No One Lives Forever 2: A Spy in H.A.R.M.’s Way and she’s more shaggadelic than ever! One of the best games of 2000 makes a simply smashing return in 2002. Improved in almost every possible way over the original, it’s a sure contender for Game of the Year and a practical shoe-in for First Person Shooter of the Year. Spanning 40 Levels through 15 unique Chapters, NOLF2’s storyline is just as humorous, if not more so, than the first.

No One Lives Forever 2: A Spy in HARM's Way

The Armchair Empire

  • Conclusion: the series. The game doesn’t take itself too seriously, though it is obvious that the game’s designers took every step in the process very seriously. The in-engine cut scenes especially feature some hilarious dialogue and cheeky character interaction. They are a pleasure to watch. I can’t help but wish that other companies would put so much thought to their cut scenes and interstitial footage.

  • Excerpt: It’s been nearly two years since Fox Interactive brought us the original No One Lives Forever. That title went on to become a game of the year, leaving plenty of fans wanting more. Well, the wait is over, and No One Lives Forever 2 delivers more of the same campy humor, silliness, and solid game play that made the first game such a success. Sierra and Fox Interactive have teamed up to bring back Cate Archer and her fellow U.N.I.T.Y. agents in Monolith’s latest offering.
