  • Summary: Although still a great game, this sequel did not give me the same excitement as the first. Still, the story was easy enough to follow for the most part. Never really explained the origins of the extractors, or how those boys ended up with magic powers. Part 3 maybe? In any case, the graphics were lovely! And the music unobtrusive. I found the puzzles enjoyable and challenging, but not overwhelming on advance. Wonder how it'll be on expert.

  • Summary: I didn't expect anything when I read the game description. Portal to another world, right? But Nightmare Realm reveals more than that. Storyline is good and very engaging. From the car crash, the abduction 4 years later, and so on. The another world seems nonsense at first; as you walk around gathering clues, the story develops at good pace. You'll encounter Emily's imaginary friends and uncover the Extractor. This game ends nicely and leaves no cliffhanger.

  • Summary: Upon reading the title, I was a bit skeptical to play the demo, let alone buy the game. There have been so many dark and eerie HO/Adventure games lately, and a lot of them seem so similar that I was starting to lose interest. This game however, by far proved me wrong! The storyline is engrossing from the very beginning - there is not one scene where you don't want to know what's going to happen next.

  • Summary: If I had the opportunity to create a Hidden Object game, that would have been the One. As much as I love brain teasers, and Ravenhearst series used to be my favourite, Nightmare Realm is by a long mile the most addictive I have ever tried. Pace, atmosphere, no useless wandering around, a lot of logic and a fair amount of unexpected. The perfect blend for entertainment.

  • Summary: What an extraordinary game! Nightmare realm is one of the most beautiful and haunting games I have ever played. I would give it six stars if I could. Lovingly created, this game has a haunting story, just the right amount of hidden objects and some interesting and different puzzles. The special effects are out of this world. I bought the collectors edition and the bonus chapter itself was a long two or so hours of extra play.

  • Summary: This is simply a beautiful game - and I've only played the demo so far. When the PST clock ticks over into December, I'll be buying the full CE version, and I expect I'll be replaying this one a few times. Beautiful artwork, interesting story, great gameplay, and I'm frustrated that I need to wait until December 1 to buy it (so I can get points for December purchases from BFG, I've already filled two punchcards for November).

  • Summary: I am new to writing reviews, and to be honest, most are too long so I skip along to get the general idea about a game. On the other hand, this site is great for reading reviews prior to buying a game and have really helped me out when BFG is running a sale (what to buy!). I like knowing what year a game was made before I purchase it, even if it is at a discount price and reviews give you an idea about that, so they are very helpful!

  • Summary: Loved it. Again, not quite a 5, but close enough. I waited for the regular release (refuse to pay double for an extra hour of gameplay on the CE versions) and it was plenty long and MUCHO fun! Storyline once again is ridiculous, but putting aside the lunacy of a young girl being "extracted" into her own artwork by a fiendish ghoul, this game offered me hours of point & click fun. More of an adventure than a HOG, the search scenes it does contain are superior.

  • Summary: Based on SE Trial Nice enough but after 40 minutes I completed the demo which seems to be one third of the game. If I need to use up an expiring code I will consider it, but for now, on to other games.

  • Summary: Would love to review this game; but I can't get it to work properly, no how many suggestions I follow from BFG. I've reinstalled four times and can't get the transitions and text boxes to speed up. Everything is in excruciating slow-mo. It's very frustrating. Suggest you try before you buy. This game is the only one I could not get to work with a patch or reinstall. I don't know if I will ask for my money back (see "Forums" comments) GOOD LUCK!
