Excerpt: There are probably hundreds of PC games developed by students in the privacy of their dorm rooms every year. Some likely never travel beyond that developers PC, while other may get distributed to a few friends at the university. Many times, these titles are too flawed or basic to merit any interest outside of the developer's circle of friends.
Summary: Start playing NHL Eastside Hockey Manager 2007 now, and you might not come up for air until after the real hockey season ends next spring.
Pros: Incredible depth and accuracy, astute artificial intelligence that knows its way around the salary cap, trading and player movement so smart that it seems like real hockey professionals are making management decisions
Cons: Sim times are a little on the slow side, Audio presentation is still pretty minimal
Excerpt: NHL Eastside Hockey Manager 2005, an introduction. Last year we saw the first management game from Sports Interactive that wasn't based on football.
