ActionTrip
8 November 2006
  • Conclusion: With all this on offer, Neverwinter Nights 2 will surely keep RPG fans busy for a long time. You won't regret buying the game, especially if you've played through the original as well as the expansion packs.
  • Pros: Enough RPG goodness to keep you occupied for days, excellent audio;
  • Cons: Nothing innovative in terms of gameplay (that we haven't seen from Obsidian before), technical setbacks, quirks in the AI, certain segments of the game seem visually outdated.

  • Pros: Spectacular spell and combat effects aplenty, a compelling storyline with numerous side quests plus character development and tinkering opportunities… all hot items on the RPG fan's wish list.
  • Cons: There are some minor graphics issues, and if you don’t have a grunty PC you will have to sacrifice a lot of eye candy for the sake of improved performance.
