not the best

Summary: it was an ok racing sim not as good as the original Shift. there are other games out there much better but if you are just satisfyed with an arcade type game then you will probably enjoy this one.
Summary: Using just keyboard its almost impossible to control the cars... don't know how people are faring with a wheel or controller.. also, had to install on my Vista machine as Windows 7 64 bit kept crashing/freezing, so unable to run on ultra... a shame as its a really good sim...
Decent game, needs Wheel for all Drifting portions though

Summary: The game has many very technical tweaks available, particularly in regards to the suspension, transmission and engine block. The descriptions on what these do will typically confuse the average casual player, yet sadly, most are required to be tweaked in order to win certain races with certain...
Pros: I'm re-reviewing this game in lieu of some more exposure to it. The game is very realistic and there is a plethora of modification options for your car on part with (though not better than) Forza, Project Gotham and Gran Turismo. The game can be as wild and crazy as you want it (albeit, you won't...
Cons: Sadly, this list is still mostly the same as my previous review, but with a few revisions. Playing the game without one of it's supported gaming wheels is a challenge. I use a Logitech PS3-like controller and even with dual analog sticks, it's still difficult. The pre-supported wheels apparently ...
you really need a computer with a good graphics card

Summary: I love these need for speed games but each version demands more power in your computer than the previos one :( So, you really need to have a powerful graphics card and at least 3 or 4 GB or RAM memory, (and a really good processor like core i5).
Summary: The only thing that kills this game is driving mechanics, they are just horrible, the cars are absolutely uncontrollable, it's almost impossible to beat this game even on easy difficulty! I dropped this game half way through cause I just couldn't struggle with this anymore!
Summary: Shift 2 is overally good with its kind of realism it offers but this depends on your point of view of this game... also if u played shift 1 ... 2 doesnt got too much to offer... if I have to say most noticiable news is Night race and camera from helm... yup thats all.
Summary: I am very disappointed with this game. I have a core 2 duo intel 3GHz with a radeon hd4850 and this game is pretty much unplayable because of the slow frame rate. I have updated windows 7 and downloaded the latest video and sound drivers and it is still too slow.
Summary: Just to give you some background on me (so you can take what I say with a grain of salt, depending on what you're looking for from this game) I mostly play racing games that lean far more toward the simulator side (modified versions of GTR2, GTR Evo/Race 07, rFactor, Richard Burns Rally).
