Summary: it was an ok racing sim not as good as the original Shift. there are other games out there much better but if you are just satisfyed with an arcade type game then you will probably enjoy this one.

Summary: I love these need for speed games but each version demands more power in your computer than the previos one :( So, you really need to have a powerful graphics card and at least 3 or 4 GB or RAM memory, (and a really good processor like core i5).
Summary: Just to give you some background on me (so you can take what I say with a grain of salt, depending on what you're looking for from this game) I mostly play racing games that lean far more toward the simulator side (modified versions of GTR2, GTR Evo/Race 07, rFactor, Richard Burns Rally).
Summary: It's a good game, graphics are up there and plenty of tracks to race on, but you have to win races to get new tracks, if you don't you race the same ones and that realy bored me. Summary: I have enjoyed shift1 very much , but shift2 is not quite in the same league. A driving game is all about the feel of the game and this does not match the playability feel of the previous game. The patch has been applied and I use a force steering wheel but it is still a little disapointing.

Conclusion: I am a huge fan of the racing genre and I have a fairly powerful gaming machine. I sometimes play Need for Speed Hot Pursuit on PC and previously owned Need for Speed Shift on Xbox 360 (which I played to death).
