Summary: I have windows 8.1 and evidently 8.1 does not like unleashed as I could not get it to install and run. I tried everything I could think of to get it to run but it would not. I was particularly disappointed in this as I was really looking forward to playing it. The game play looked awesome but..... I am not asking for my purchased price back, I rarely do however I am bummed by the product.
Summary: I primarily bought this game because my friend enjoyed the first NFS SHIFT title. He found it to have (as he described it) the most realistic car control of any NFS title. I'd have to agree except that I'd add it went too far. Realistic physics and visual effects were far more demanding than any keyboard or game controller could effectively manage. In short, don't buy a SHIFT title unless you have a decent steering wheel/pedal setup.
Summary: this game was immensely hard to control on a PC, even though I had set the steering commands to "easy"... it's like the car has no traction whatsoever, and impossible to win races unless you have the best car on the track
Summary: i was expecting this game to be like the other NFS games but its s*** compared to NFS hot pursuit, most wanted, underground, i have played alot of rally racing games and this one is the worst one i mean it doesint evan have a video options WTF how do u evan play a game that u cant change to graphics
Summary: I downloaded the game during the spring event for $4.99 and let me say that while the graphics are great, the game is virtually unplayable. The steering (xbox360 wired controller) has a wicked lag on steering input of about ~200ms. To turn a corner or follow a line correctly, it seems I have to call a psychic hotline. I have visited several forums searching for an answer and it seems to be a problem for all platforms.
