Summary: The overall packing was fine there were no issues with its case. The game however was a bit dissapointing. It felt repetitive. The story mode was super short and could easily be beaten in a week for even a casual gamer. The police didn't seem to be as big of a part of it as they were in Most Wanted which was another let down.
Summary: This games, for effects, is not too bad. I have a problem with race car games that don't show actual damage to the cars. You can spin out, run into buildings, and hit other cars without any wear to your vehicle. Again, this game is fun, but I expected more.
Summary: I'm surprised to see worse graphics in this than in NFS Underground. You'd think that a newer game would have better graphics...not so. The first thing I did was turn off the blurring that occurred when you started going at a decent speed. That's really distracting.
Summary: I just got this game and I am thoroughly enjoying it. It is fun and I get to drive fast without risking real-life damage. I am not much of a gamer, I just like driving games and this has what I was after. Of course, I did some research on the game before I bought it. I heard about it crashing (the game exits during play-time), and I have already had that happen once, but that is OK. 'used' game (still in the wrapper), $[...]: totally worth it.
Summary: Need for Speed Carbon overall is a fun to play and fairly addicting game. However, after completing the campaign, players will be left wanting more, as the campaign is fairly short. Though the game offers a very large variety of vehicles and mods, actual game play may get repetitive, though not nearly as bad as previous NFS games. Overall, it's a fun to play single player game, albeit repetitive.
Summary: This game kept my attention, but that is about all I can say. The driving is quite unrealistic. The Audi R8 is faster than a Koenigsegg, and a dump truck has a quicker acceleration than a Porsche Carrera GT. The last boss race was so incredibly difficult that I had to play it on the highest resolution and best quality, slowing my laptop down so much that I could play the game frame by frame.
Summary: OK, so the game was definitely a step down from previous games. I agree that the police pursuits provided no adrenaline rush/intensity to the game at all. I'd have to say Hot Pursuit 2 was much better in that category. The racing aspect was nothing to gloat over, very similar to the previous games. For everything the game was supposed to have over previous games in the NFS series, I can't really say I was overly impressed.
Summary: This is a good Game, Amazing Graphic sequences, the characters are really good, the animation of the characters is excelent, i guess you cannot expect less from EA... But while you play the game you see, there are couple things, the game gets really really hard in some races, and you gotta make the game hard for the player so is not boring but not that hard that i break my gamepad.
Summary: I am a collector of the NFS series, Most Wanted is probably my favorite and High Stakes a close second. Carbon... Well The graphics are good, and the gameplay combines some elements of Most Wanted with Underground. You can only race at night. And it is a bit on the short side. But over all its not a bad game. I just hope the next NFS is more like High Stakes.
