DO NOT BUY for Windows 7/8

Kasaru, Amazon
22 November 2013
  • Summary: Unfortunately, no matter how much I tried, I could not get the game running on Windows 7. No amount of patches or compatibility tweaks will make this game work for me. I know this game is great, and it is a shame I can't play it on PC. I guess I will have to settle for PS3 or Xbox 360.

  • Summary: This game is better than Most Wanted, but it has other big problems. The controlling is a bit better, but it's not good enough. The races are more exciting. In sprint or circuit there are 6 opposite racers (plus the ally).

  • Summary: no widescreen, i dont like the gameplay the graphics are bad, those are the main 3 aspects that made me not like this and some other new versions of NFS. To get it straight, for me i think the best NFS would be just either Most Wanted or Underground 2 with up to date graphics, less cartoonish and...

Not worth it! Stick with Most Wanted

Amazon Customer, Amazon

  • Summary: I have played every single Need for Speed game there is, even the limited edition porche series. And each successive game has been an improvement over the last, with Most Wanted being by far the best.

Horrible Trend In PC Games

18 December 2006
  • Summary: In their never ending quest to capitalize on consumers, EA and other game companies are developing games on multiple platforms at the same time to maximize profits. Because of this increase workload only one game system will benefit while all others will lose in overall quality.

The formula is getting a bit tired

  • Summary: I've been a huge fan of the series ever since NFS3 and despite being a racing sim fan, I've always enjoyed NFS's arcade-like gaming for when you don't want to take things too seriously.

Not worth the $

M. Mills, Amazon
26 November 2006
  • Summary: I too will agree with all of the other low-scoring reviews. This game feels like a quick push to get another NFS title out the door while the success from Most Wanted was still hot. I wish they could leave the core aspects of their good games alone.

The worst NFS game... 2.5 stars overall

whwh, Amazon
3 November 2006
  • Summary: To the point: I've played Most Wanted and Underground II and loved them. This game, however, makes me think "uh, why does it suck?" I'd wager this thought will cross your mind too, more than once. The graphics is a step down. While not neccesarily bad, overall the graphics are more cartoony.
