Summary: 2K's titles are the same thing, over and over again. The only thing of substance they've managed to add since 2k11 is a terrible micro-transaction scheme to try and dupe you out of even more money. (Which they didn't include in the PC version, making it impossible to use some of the game's standard features that now require the use of "VC", or Virtual Currency that you buy from them after already having spent money on the game.
Summary: of course it is difficult to play on a pc because it is never designed to be played with keyboards. i have a usb controller hooked up to my laptop and it is very good. it is a lot better to play with peers than to play with AI. the only serious drawback that i can think of is the pricing. it's been 3 years or so and it's still 20 bucks?
Summary: It's an okay game, but kind of lags on the computer, and I don't think I would purchase again. We bought it for our 12 year old son for his birthday, and while he enjoys it because he likes basketball, it is not his favorite because it is frustrating that is lags so much. We tried adjusting the settings and cleaning our computer, and it did help some, but still would probably not buy the download for the computer again, if we could go back and redo the purchase.
