Summary: Bought the game for empire total war but the disgusting pill of crap they try to call napoleon total war was also shipped in this box and I had to perform a ritual burning to cleanse my soul after the torture they call napoleon total war. Empire was good though.
Summary: A total nightmare to install. Does not work well with Windows 8. The game itself is good. I'd give it 5 stars. That said however, if you have access to a fast internet connection and aren't running Windows 8, you'll probably be happy with this.
You can't go far wrong with this game but you could go better with Empire.

Conclusion: Dont get me wrong, Napolean is a brillaint addition to the total war series. The animations are outstanding, the use of new tactics is a good challenge to get to grips with, and the naval warfare is just breathtaking.
Summary: Better than Empire was. Fewer bugs, but the campaign AI is still clinically retarded. If you've played any of the Total war games before there is little or no challenge to be had. The "supply Line" system is a joke, it has no impact on armies at all.
Summary: I bought the game due to reviews talking about a long awaited supply system with more realistic warfare challenge and finally some strategy apart from just battle tactics. Well, I am afraid it is once again the traditional total war series with nothing but the deeply entertaining old battle system...
