Summary: Bought the game for empire total war but the disgusting pill of crap they try to call napoleon total war was also shipped in this box and I had to perform a ritual burning to cleanse my soul after the torture they call napoleon total war. Empire was good though.
Summary: A total nightmare to install. Does not work well with Windows 8. The game itself is good. I'd give it 5 stars. That said however, if you have access to a fast internet connection and aren't running Windows 8, you'll probably be happy with this.

Summary: Yeah great Napoleonic at last ,once you get it working but UGHH the "STEAM" nightmare avoid buying anything that DEMANDS you have a Fascist "STEAM" account if you don't want to make yourself miserable for at least 4 hours download to an entire day!
Summary: Looking forward to playing this as I like this period of history, however, usual T.W. gripes apply. Units which should be part of a standing army/navy aren't available until certain building have been built (i.e. Guard units and frigates).
Summary: Total War are heading for the title Total Bore for me. Introducing their products through Steam is a big downfall in my opinion. When I bought the game I didn't want to sit there for hours downloading some net rubbish and all their product placement malarky, I wanted to play a game. Steam sucks!
Summary: If you have played Empire Total War - then Napoleon Total War is a very similar thing in its appearance. Napoleon's era is obviously interesting, but because of few differences between the period of the Seven Years War and the Napoleonic Wars, there is significant overlap (militarily) with Empire...
Summary: I enjoy the game, I've played all the previos Total War games, but this one has one real downside; STEAM. It will not let you play unless you are connected to the internet, and the reason for that is they want to sell you something else.
