Summary: Bought this game when it first came out. The campaign would constantly freeze, glitch, hard-crash to blackscreen..etc. Found an online "patch" which slightly improved game performance but did not eliminate it. Conclusion: the campaign was rendered unplayable and thus never completed.
Summary: What happened to buying and installing single-player games? What happened to great game experiences like Panzer General, Star Trek Birth of the Federation, Medieval Total War ONE, Star Control II, et al. ?? Why must I use STEAM, a useless middleman?????
Summary: This game arrived in good time, well packaged and as described. Sadly, I find with modern strategy games that the graphics are really good and slick, but the actual gameplay hides behind the graphics. Moving around the "game board" is cumbersome.
Summary: 'Napoleon' is a more than worthy successor to previous Total War titles, and a particular joy if you're into this era of military history rather than just the gaming. It is more complicated than previous titles, and if you've not tried a 'Total War' game it's not the one to start with, unless...
Summary: After owning Napoleon TW for a number of years I have finally got around to writing a review of it. The game itself builds on what has already been seen in various Total War games, successfully blending old and new things if you've played Total War before you know what you are getting, if not think...
Great graphics, but a little bored by the gameplay.

Summary: I struggle to get into this game, even though I am a fan of the Total War series. The graphics are good, and overall the game plays well without any bugs. However the specific time in history, where all units consist of guns and little else renders strategy null and void.
Summary: Don't know why but the further in the more this game struggles was initially dropping the video in battles now it gets so far into the battle and crashes the only way to progress is to autoresolve. My PC far exceeds recommended system requirements for the game so I can't explain it.
Summary: I really wanted to like this. Others in the series have been briliant, but since the move to Steam, Total War has nosedived just when they are starting to tackle even more interesting points in history. First, Steam. The online 'technology' for games.
