Summary: Wasn't too sure about this game after the demo, but I bought it anyway, and it turned out to be pretty solid. Great Greek setting and graphics, and voice overs were done pretty well. Tone and speech finally came across like how real people would react to a plot. Puzzles were challenging, and there were plenty of searches. I was a little lost in the beginning about where I should be within the game, but then I discovered the map, and the option to jump scenes.
Summary: I didn't expect to enjoy this as much as I did, but after playing it I have to say it is definitely worth your time. The setting was done absolutely beautifully--I really got the feel of being on vacation on a Greek island, and it was such a relief to get away from the usual historical or haunted house mysteries. It reminded me a bit of Agatha Christie's "Evil Under the Sun." I really must comment on the voice acting, which was fantastic.
Summary: Well, whaddya know. I actually ended up liking this game. I must admit I wasn't too big a fan when I saw the preview images and they all showed fuzzy, "soft focus" graphics in low resolution and poor detail (yes, that's what you can expect for the whole of the game), but the story sounded interesting, so I thought I'd give the game a try anyway. If you can look past the mediocre graphics and even worse HO scenes, this game could actually be fun.
