Summary: First off, I bought this for me to get into the Famous MK series and I decided to get the Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection to play the ones that started it all. Overall, its really fun, but can be challenging at times. For instance, the boss battles are SUPER HARD, and if you want to see the guts and gore the MK series is known for it takes time to master the Fatality combo. (The game with easiest fatality combos is MK 1).
Summary: I am creating this review based on the future installments after this game. I already own Deception and Armageddon so in essence I am making a review in reverse order. This is the first of a trilogy with 3d model fighters and the only reason I am buying this game in 2014 is for collection purposes to complete the trilogy.
Summary: The graphic quality in the game, is just like the arcade. Using a Logitech controller, the only problem (which can be solved), is imputing the up, down, left, right keystrokes, at the N, S, E, W positions, where the directional pad would be, on their gamepad software. Once this is done, and apply persistent profile is set (on the global settings), the game plays great.
