Summary: This game was fun and exciting, it gave me the change to apply some of the things I was learning in ECON to real life, it also had an competitive aspect were you compete with the computer and its actaully a challenge!!! Played this game for hours while listening to Personal development, great game.
Summary: Great game...im a fanatic of the tycoon computer games...i find them to be very entertaining and they are a great way to pass the time....and real fast!!!.... Monopoly Tycoon is a good game...you can go for bronze, silver, and gold trophies for each scenario... It has a very good tutorial within the game...it takes you through all of the features and you're ready to go once you go through the whole tutorial...
Summary: I liked this game mainly because you could buy and build all types of business. The only draw back to this game is that they limet your game play from 1930 to 2000. You should be able to play until you take all your opponents money and properties. Buy this game its a whole lot of fun and will keep you busy for hours.
Summary: This tycoon game was almost perfect. In my opinion it is a upgrade of playing the board game. You get to lease and auction property from the city and build stores, apartments and make money. Time goes by really fast in years and you see a little as far as the cars and the other way to tell is by the different type of stores available to open. Once in a while they give you a card and you either have to pay something or get money, similar to the board game.
Summary: The Monopoly software really enhances the game. It is full of creative animations and also allows you to play on many different boards based on different cities (I like this feature), and also allows you to design your own board and play on it. However, Mr. Monopoly's commentary becomes annoying after a while, especially his usually stupid comments about what number you rolled. (You can turn this off though.
Summary: I never thought that Monopoly could be applied to a game like this. It is really a business/economic simulator, because you have to take charge of aspects such as cash flow, sales, supply and demand, etc. However, a drawback to it is that it does not allow you to play a regular game--you can only play the scenarios. But it is an excellent game, especially if you want to practice business/economics.
Summary: Is the new version of Monopoly worth it? In a word, Yes! Though I do miss the animations that were in the original Monopoly, this version not only has the new player pieces, but comes with 10 different city boards and allows you to make your own as well! The interface is user friendly and I would recommend this to any board game fan.
Summary: This game is extremely addictive and excellent so I'll talk only of its faults. The graphics are decent but the words don't show up on the gameboard as crisp as I'd like to see; that could be just my PC though. There are some minor visual bugs that are annoying but don't affect gameplay much, such as "mortgaged" tabs not appearing on certain properties when appropriate, and the trading screen sometimes doesn't change when you tamper with it while the AI opponents enter...
