Summary: If I hadn’t happened upon a review by by one of my GZ friends for the 1st Mishap, I would never have discovered how delightful this series is. Well, I may have discovered this eventually since, game hoarder that I am, I had Mishap 2 on my computer. This game is wicked fun. The huge areas for seeking items, ghostbusting, locating bonus items in each scene and the Space Invaders arcade-type minigames rock!
Summary: I gave 4 stars for the Mishap 1 but for this sequel only 3 stars because it was nearly identical to what I've reviewed before. Great graphics, colourful & vibrant. Easy gameplay. But too much text info on characters and too much going on. Puzzles at the end of each chapter were a mixed bag. Some were ok and some were just lame - like the nurse doing surgery. Also too many instruction to remember for these puzzles. This game is weird, fun at times, but mostly silly.
Summary: This game has kept me entertained from the very beginning to the unfortunate end. I love the story and the graphics are EXCELLENT. The hidden object scenes come alive! I highly recommend it and those pesky mini-games? skip them if you don't want to play them. I skipped a few and played the rest. That's the mark of a truly well rounded game when the player can skip mini-games like these. (a few of them are worth a try!) GO download this!
Summary: Gorgeous graphics and fun storyline. I like that the hidden object list is long and the objects are relevant to the scenes. My only complaint is the mini-games were sometimes hard to understand and if you accidentally skipped the instructions (like I did for the first one), there is no way to access the instructions again (at least as far as a I remember! I had to guess my way through it).
Summary: Thank you Namco! Finally, a product that truly is a chip off the old block! The only problem i have with the game is the mini-games are pretty much repeats. But, even that doesn't bother me, as the game itself is sooo entertaining! I feel like a kid in a candy store! Once again, Namco, thank you! ____________________________________________________________________________ I may have to amend my 5 star rating.
Summary: I thought this game was extremely well done. To me you would expect it to be somewhat like the first one since it's a sequel. Namco did a bang up job on this one, and I would have gave it more than a 5 star. Game play: You have 8 chapters to play. In each chapter you have 4 rooms of hidden object scenes. One item goes towards the riddle that you have to solve at the end.
Summary: I'm with you Johnp456, It was exactly the same as the last one with better graphics. The room scrolling back and forth makes me dizzy, and the screaming ghosts... well the artists didn't listen to the reviewers at all. The one thing everyone agreed on was that awful screeching. There are way too many objects to find in room after room after room and finding the ghosts with your specter finder is juvenile and a waste of time. Boring, boring, boring.
Summary: I LOVE this game in that the graphics is OUT of this world. There are so many active and fun areas to explore. There is no penalty except very annoying Ghost voice "You'll be cursed, Refrain from random clicking" etc. The Ghost is just so cute and colorful. I HATE that the objects are so small that you can't even see anything! The riddles are not too difficult (at least from the 3 chapters that I played under 1 hour trial). The mini games are just so fun too.
