Unfairly ignored because of a dated engine

Andras Gregorik, Amazon
25 November 2011
  • Summary: Everything about this largely ignored game WORKS despite infamously reusing the M&M 6 and 7 graphics engine. I'll cut to the chase by talking about a single aspect: atmosphere. This one may be the most atmospheric Might&Magic in the whole series; no, I'm not exaggerating.

Might and Seen it Before 8

Ilan U. Woll, Amazon

An anti-climax

Amazon
21 July 2000
  • Summary: Might & Magic VII was one of the best games I've ever played and so I looked forward to this, game VIII. What a disappointment. The graphics have more in common with M&M VI than VII, and the quests are not engaging.
