Summary: I am not a fan of Steam. To me it seems like a way to put more advertising in front of the consumer, which I personally just don't need. I also think our trend of less ownership of products by those who buy them, versus keeping things on someone's server is a bad idea. I didn't see any wording on this product that this was a Steam product. I wouldn't have bought it if I had. It's slow to load and puts the same ads up each time it loads.
Summary: I bought this a few days ago it was very very fast shipping since it was going from across the country when I installed it and loaded it up and started driving hundreds of tons of steel and freight the sounds and physics were just amazing! I also bought Cascades Crossin' addon for it which added lots more realisem to it, Guys this is NOT a GAME this is a SIMULATOR if you think driving trains is the easiest thing ever this is not the simulator for you because this...
Summary: This game has a large following and tons of support online. That said... I felt it was too limited. It seemed very limited in what a player could do. If I wanted to design my own track, or NOT play an adventure it was not worth the effort.
Summary: The original train simulator for PC and runs under windows 8. Still a great simulator for Windows but make sure you download the updates. People are still brining out add-ons for this product and they all work also.
Had tons of fun with the japanese and amtrak trains.

Summary: Great game by Microsoft, even though it's 12 years old. I'd like to see the company make a new one, because the computers of yesterday couldn't handle the graphics, unless you purchased all high end gaming equipment. Now we have 8GB, 16GB, and 32GB computers that will play these types of games without any problem. I know, I have a 32GB upgradeable computer.
