Did Not Work With Windows 8
30 July 2015
Summary: When I purchased it, I got a good deal and the seller was great, but since it was not optimized for Windows 8, I needed to run it in compatibility mode to work with Windows 8. I was able to install it on my computer, but not actually run it and use it.
Summary: I purchased this simulator without giving much thought to the operating system. I think I am so used to buying games from "Good old Games" where there have engineered their older games to play on the newest operating systems that it never occurred to me I could be buying a game that would not work.
Summary: I put one star because I can't use it on any of my operating systems. It only works on Windows XP and various other early Windows software which I do not have. This isn't the seller's fault; I just didn't look at the requirements or anticipate this type of problem.
Summary: I bought this a few days ago it was very very fast shipping since it was going from across the country when I installed it and loaded it up and started driving hundreds of tons of steel and freight the sounds and physics were just amazing!
Summary: This game has a large following and tons of support online. That said... I felt it was too limited. It seemed very limited in what a player could do. If I wanted to design my own track, or NOT play an adventure it was not worth the effort.
