  • Summary: Didn't like this installment very much ,,, not fan of the story since the previous game , and this game didn't make it any better ,,, same shallow characters and voice acting , Same FPS game play , Same Graphics "now they look very outdated" ,,, the positive thing is the environment , i felt it's...

  • Summary: It's just the same old thing as Last Light, just a slight graphics change. It's still fun, but definatley not worth paying for the game again. It's the same thing is buying The Last of Us on ps3, then buying it on ps4, just a god damn waste of money, and I can't even get a refund.

  • Summary: Game's okay. Ranger Mode Hardcore is terrible though, considering it basically requires you to play through the game once on an easier mode to even understand what's going on. Ranger Hardcore removes any hud so it's impossible to select your throwable weapons by any means other than guessing and...

  • Summary: I don't really care for this game, too much like the first, old and boring, but it does have very nice looking graphics.

  • Summary: Chronicles is a short 3 mission DLC that shows you what some of the characters of the Metro universe were doing while Artyom was on his mission. The missions are okay, but except for the Anna mission where you snipe mutants, they really don't add anything new to the game.

It isn't just the game

  • Summary: You have to have STEAM to play the game. Just like Origin it makes the games run laggy and bogs down the pc. I should have read a little more I would have skipped it.

Unique world design

Amazon Customer, Amazon
8 December 2013
  • Summary: I want to give this game five stars for how unique the Metro environment feels. Three things detract from the overall experience. - Engine can feel janky at times. - Fights are never just challenging. They're either mind numbingly easy or insanely hard. - The entire story is like a Metro...

OK game

Ron, Amazon
20 September 2013
  • Summary: I'll make this as brief as I can; Graphics: 7/10 They seem dated and the palette they've used continues to be a washed out set of greys, browns, and black hues. I get it, post apocalypse wasteland etc, but the organic life doesn't have to blend in with the rest of the scene.

Metro has good and bad

Greg Schaefer, Amazon
22 July 2013
  • Summary: The overall graphics are very good. However the game is too dark and difficult to view. It is also easy to head the wrong direction etc and waste time to get back to the plot. Using the compass and lighter as a guide is useful but still difficult.

Metro Trying for to much

P. Lyon, Amazon
18 July 2013
  • Summary: I have to admit that the graphics and sound are on par with most of the other first person shooters out there. If you never played the previous, like myself, you might loose a bit of the back story since they don't go to much into the previous stories from the other games.
