Summary: the game is fun, i doesn't run as well as the second game on the same hardware, paid next to nothing because of the summer sale. game is immersive and has a good story line so you can get into it so it's good but not great.
Summary: This is one of the most demanding graphics rendering games that will bring some high performing graphic cards to their knees. Since I test computer hardware and software this was one of the must games that I needed to try. Great game which was followed up by Metro: Last Light which by the way I felt was not near the challenge Metro 2033 is.
Summary: Seems like a really cool game, good graphics, good story, kinda creepy/scary if that's what your into. I got the steam key for a few bucks on here then found out they were giving the game away for free, but you had to like their FB page and then do something else. I haven't played it much yet, but it seems like an interesting game. Also it's a good graphically demanding game to push your system.
Summary: Let me start off by saying that I am a fan of the post-apocalyptic genre. I bought this game originally for my Xbox 360 and found it to be a very good yet buggy game. I saw that Metro was on sale so I purchased it for my gaming laptop, mainly to see how high I could get the graphics up. Steam- I read a lot about the complaints about it being a Steam game.
Summary: Now i know this game is usually used for made video card performance test. The graphics are unbelievable good, using a 560Ti from Asus this ran smoothly in a old intel core i7 1st gen with a processor of 2.67GHz. The history itself looks good and the sound is nice in a 5.1 home theater. Is highly recommended play it in a big monitor, you can appreciate even better the game details.
Summary: The game itself is very good, the graphics look great (Nvidia GeForce GTS 240, highest settings) and the gameplay is that of a typical linear-plot FPS. It isn't very long (about 7 chapters or so, each with about 5 - 8 levels in them, excluding the first couple of chapters, which only have like 2 or 3 levels), but if you take your time, you can make it last a couple hours longer. Buyers will note that Steam is required to run this game.
