Summary: I gave this game 3 stars. I can see some loving this game and others not. It is linear which is fine with me as it pushes the story along. The controls are good. Not Halo good, but still good. Graphics are fine. The reason I give it only a 3...It doesn't pull me in. In other words I don't crave to play the game.
Summary: The delivery was fast, my complaint is that I bought the game as a pc game to be installed directly onto the pc from the disc with a desk top shortcut, click the shortcut or insert the disc to play the game. I ended up with an activation code and a disc that installs a game site that then downloads the game. 3.5 hours later I can play it. If the site ever goes down you can't access the game.
Fun game with a captivating story line and fairly good visuals.

Summary: Intervals between some checkpoints were too long. This became tedious on certain levels where the difficulty was much harder that the previous level (That's a common problem with a lot of games). Some of the levels in the "D6" bunker require a top-end game machine to maintain playable frame rates. Other levels are playable on an ordinary office-grade desktop - if you keep the game resolution set to minimum.
Summary: the game looks great but i have some issues camping mod the sounds disappear suddenly and i cant hear anything also this game crash on me twice i give 3 starts because not every one will get the same issues as i get so 3 is fair for this game becuase they should fix the problems
Summary: Good game HARD AS HECK TO PLAY game is really challenging but all and all its a good game fro its time i hate you can't go into windowed full screen so i can't switch over between messengers like skype.
Summary: The environments feel ripped right from STALKER series of games, weapons include several of the home-made variety such as those crafted in Fallout. But, Metro is not as good as either of the games that it borrows from.
Summary: what the title says, some people said it was one of the best games they played the year it came out, but i honestly didn't see it that way. The game is extremely linear, game play was ok, story was great, graphics were stunning, but the game was unnecessary hard and frustrating even on normal difficulty. You have a hard time spotting enemies, and feels all clustered together.
Summary: Even though Stalker Call Pripyat has a similar feel to Metro the two games are very different. In the best way they are different, METRO feels like you are participating in a movie. The monster sounds are way more scary as well as the monsters themselves. Having a flying monster adds a lot also as well as some women and children. The story is dynamic and the storytellers voice is great. The graphics are a better especially when it comes to people.
Summary: For a PC FPS it's pretty run of the mill. Collecting items can be a pain. I'd really only recommend it if you're a person who really likes to play FPS games. It's really pretty cliche. Maybe I was expecting something a bit more horror-based?
Summary: A pretty decent game, watch for a good price. Worth a couple of play-throughs. Most people that enjoy RPG games will likely get more out of it. I play single player RPG's and will get bored easily with some of them. Try mass Effect 1 and 2 or the Far Cry offerings if you enjoy this gaming style, more hours per $ IMHO. Stalkers don't compete. I would recommend this game, good plot and graphics, interesting dialog.
