Metal Dead

Adventure Classic Gaming
7 December 2013
  • Excerpt: Metal Dead is an interesting mix of adventure, puzzle, humor and horror. It is an ingenious little game developed and published by Walk Thru Walls Studios, an indie game development company cofounded by Liam O'Sullivan and Robert Wriedt. The graphics in this game are cartoonish but with a definite attitude. Even the cursor used in the game is a hand that is flashing the heavy metal sign. Of course, this attitude does not end there.

Metal Dead by flotsam

25 May 2012
  • Excerpt: Hailing from down under, and with a confessed admiration for both the adventure game genre and the work of Tim Schafer, Ron Gilbert, Al Lowe and Jane Jensen, Walk Thru Wall’s indie debut kicks (and shoots, explodes, splatters and munches) quite a few goals, and only a few own ones.

  • Conclusion: Metal Dead is brief—I finished it in under four hours—which will disappoint some gamers, but it’s affordably priced at the developer’s website, and I found that the length nicely fit the story and atmosphere. I appreciate funny games, but often the humor wears thin if it goes on too long.

TEST. Metal Dead

Game Blog
9 January 2012
  • Pros: Marrant et trash, Pas cher, Aventure old school
  • Cons: Moche, Interface fastidieuse
