Summary: Creative Assembly first came out with Shogun Total War - good game with interesting gameplay. Then they made Medieval Total War which was a wonderful, engrossing, educational, and fun game - with many hours at the keyboard. Then they made Rome Total War and decided to go in a different direction. Then they made this game and followed the Rome direction instead of staying with the original Medieval TW environment. Bad move, guys.
Summary: i had forgotten how much i enjoyed this game style - thanks still have my total war Rome so adding to my collection this is a different style from Rome& Empire more challenging but still enjoyable
Summary: A great game, very deep, I've been a fan of the Total War Series of games, since the Beginning, Played through Shogun total war, bought the expansion, Played Medieval 1, kind of lost track for a while, Played Rome, and the expansions, these games keep getting better and better I actually only bought it as my Old Medieval 1 (recently rediscovered in a box of games, in my old house in england) will not run on my more upto-date systems...
Summary: I have this game on Steam and play it all the time, I love it... and I bought the disc because I wanted to install a mod that only worked with a disc installation. I completely wiped every current installed MTW2 programming and deleted the folders, then tried installing the Gold Edition. I am able install and run the first disc, which contains MTW2, but the 2nd disc, which contaings the Kingdoms expansion, does nothing.
Summary: It arrived swiftly and with no product damage. The game itself is okay, nothing really that special, but not especially bad either. Don't play this if you are used to playing Rome: Total War; you will be disappointed.
