By trimming the fat of its bloated forerunners, Shogun 2 reinvents the Total War franchise as a lean, mean, utterly gorgeous and extremely accessible RTS, without sacrificing an inch of depth. Read more

    • Focused gameplay and sharp AI eliminates the sloppiness of its predecessors, Innovative multiplayer provides compelling carrots and sticks, Tremendous attention to even the smallest details of the setting and period
    • Gets somewhat bogged down near the end of complex campaigns, Online servers can be a bit dodgy with some machines, Very occasional AI glitches during battles

This is the first EA title I've purchased that has not met my modest expectations. The story is on very narrow rails - the game will not allow you to deviate even slightly from the planned course of events. Read more or see product

Yawn. This game is such a bore. Let's be honest, this game was highly over-hyped and fell flat. This game attempts to be a Modern Warfare killer. It has very few (ok, none) original ideas. Read more

    • - Somewhat engaging storyline, - Great filler. Release timing was good as there's a shortage of AAA titles. Story is not too long so until good games come out at the end of this month, you'd have finished this one.
    • - Glitches are highly annoying, - Console rated graphics, - Vehicles seem unnecessary, merely an attempt to extend single player
