well made and fun in 2007 standard, but ...

jin hwi park, Amazon
7 November 2010
  • Summary: i liked original one. so, i wanted to try upgraded one. it was fun, better graphic, mvt of enemies was more realistic(they don't just move left and right sideways like they are crab or dancing or something as they were in 1st one). i liked their missions. i know many complained about how short it is. but, it wasn't that short for me. it was kind of shorter than original one but longer than spearhead(now, that was short game).

A credit to the series

Matthew Neisinger "Belefauntes, PC Gamer", Amazon

  • Summary: I was really excited about getting this game. I've been a fan of Medal of Honor: Allied Assault for many years, and had highly anticipated the arrival of this game when I ordered it. I'll break my review down in a pros vs cons approach. Pros: Price - $9.99 is a helluva deal! Graphics - The graphics of this game are pretty crisp if you set them to max. I lowered them a bit due to some frame-rate issues, but that's totally on my system, not the game.

Check the EA Game web site before you buy

Sami, Amazon
14 January 2009
  • Summary: This game is great. If you liked MOD: Pacific Assault, you'll like Airborne too. It lacks the ambiance, but the gameplay rocks. One thing you should check at the EA Games web site ([...]) is the specs for the game. Especially frustrating are some video card problems that can cause the install process to crash to the desktop. Basically, you have to uninstall any NVIDIA PhysX drivers (use Install/Remove function), install your game, then reinstall the drivers.

Non stop action - great fun!

John Kane, Amazon
14 January 2009
  • Summary: This is a bargain at $10. The one issue this game has if played on a newer machine is that if your Vid card has ageia physx 8, the game won't install. You first have to remove that, in my case it was listed under my programs in control panel under Nvidia ageia phys. Then when you install the game it installs ageia physx 7. This is a bit of a pain since you would have to reinstall your ageia phys 8 again later. Though my other games play the same with version 7.

MofH Airborne

Keith P. Knight "Gunner one", Amazon
25 November 2008
  • Summary: A very fun game that is way too short. There are some anomalies like when my character gets stuck in walls and I have to commit suicide to restart. Or the shadows of dead Germans show throw the boxcars onto the ground. A great concept with the upgrades for weapons and good quality on the realistic peak and shoot ability. The Quality Control department was ether low budget or unqualified and rushed to get it out on its release date.
