Summary: Surprised by how much I enjoyed this one. I absolutely enjoyed the graphics and story. I was intrigued to find out why the ship was cursed in the first place, and those little plates you collect throughout the game really cleared that part up. I enjoyed all the puzzles and ho searches, and even though there was some backtracking, I seemed to find my way around pretty well. Most areas cleared reasonably fast anyway.
Summary: Boah, what an awful game this was:-(. Sometimes i just should not believe positive reviews... *sigh*... this was for me a real hard WORK to play this game... without the map which allows quick travelling and tells you where there is something to do, i would have been completely lost - and just to work with the map and go from one to the other place without the feeling of logical development, is not at all pleasant.
Summary: Like others here..I too found the game a lot of fun, the graphics really great, and the puzzles challenging enough (Although they really weren't too dificult) to just have a good time going through the game. I don't know if most of these games made for Big Fish are from companies with primarily women game designers, but there seems to be this on going trend for all the games through Big Fish to have Herions saving the day, few heros, and plenty of bad and or derranged...
Summary: I won’t repeat the story line since others have done this very well. There are different modes of play and one of them is a custom mode. The voice-overs were OK as well as the music and sound effects. The graphics were excellent except for the characters themselves and I found them a little cheesy; they were rather bland in my opinion.
Summary: This is the kind of game I like. Lots to do and some pretty challenging HO scenes. There were achievements to achieve and lots of collectibles to find. There were Myan objects that hid hummingbirds, morphing objects and pieces to a Myan calendar. I didnt get all the humminbirds but it was difficult to achieve the complete an HO scene without a misclick and find all of them as well.
Summary: One of the most well constructed game I've played in a long time. Wondrous graphics, a story that mixed reality with ancient lore, levels of difficulty, tons of activities, accessible achievements --I truly wanted it to be perfect.* I cannot give it 5 stars because of the glitches encountered by me and several others -- from both PC and Mac players. Please see my post in the forums for details. ** Without glitches this game warrants a five star rating.
Summary: This was an instant buy for me, what with the 'beyond' objects, hidden humming birds and excellent graphics. I like achievements, too. Grimlaura really has explained the game well, so won't repeat. I too selected the Custom gameplay. Was glad to turn off sparkles once I realized I could. Played the first 1/2 hour or so with too many sparkles, so this was a great feature to be able to change choices for gameplay.
Summary: I really liked this HOPA game just some minor non-nos going on the rank of 4.5 but will round. The story starts as you just arrested a poacher then suddenly get into a fog, then you're hit by a war ship and here you are saving the day/souls/partner again. Ok so the story is not absolutely original but the game goes really well with it.
