Summary: This is a nice game but lacks interest to keep me playing it. I love games and play a ton of them, but this game is one that just take patience to want to play. The story is the same. it's the ol' loner boozing cop feeling sorry for himself protecting someone he doesn't care about. It needs a reboot.
Summary: I loved Max Payne 1 and 2. Very noirish, dark and enjoyable. With excellent mod support. The first two games were a perfect example of buy once and play forever. Unfortunately, Max Payne 3 is DLC mania. My rig is 3.30 GHZ, 4 GB ram, Quad Core and a 1 GB AMD HD Radeon 6670 video card. I get some looping in the cutscene transitions but otherwise the game runs fine. The complete lack of modding tools is a complete deal killer.
Summary: Repetitive , Boring at times, and Long Cut scenes . I wish it would have been good but it had that GTAIV feel to it an I dislike GTAIV. I don't like that on here when you shoot a enemy it can takes like 20 bullets just to kill them like GTAIV I really didn't like that an also you die so fast ,an pain killers over and over when he heals himself it gets old so fast. I really wish they put more into the game or went a different root an changed up the engine.
I have an issue with the "social club" create an account for "special feature" hoobly boobly.

Summary: I just would like to say upfront that I've been a Payne fan since the first one. I got my start in gaming during the mid 90's. I was intrigued by Payne's story and the 'bullet time' effect of the original. Simply put, I dig Payne, always have. That said, (places tin foil hat on) I'm a little irked about the "Social club" crap.
Summary: This game lacks the motivation to kill all those people because I was used to kill in Max Payne 1 and 2 for personal reasons ( family got killed etc) but in this game I see it more about the job you have, and I really did not feel the rush to kill 20.000 persons to save one or two. Graphics are cool and the effects are good even in my case, running the game on a laptop with a middle class geforce gt630m with 2gb of VRAM. Overall I'll give this game 3 out of 5 stars.
Summary: Max Payne 3 is a great looking game, with excellent voice acting, pretty interesting characters, and a decent story. The cutscenes are plentiful and very cinematic, making you feel like you're watching a TV show or movie most of the time. And herein lies the problem. The basic gameplay boils down to watching a two or three minute cutscene, then setting up in an abandoned warehouse/rundown building/alleyway/stadium/police station, hiding behind something, then waiting for...
Summary: well made story very, nice graphics, just enemy can kill you easy an it can be hard too aim. their lot options too make aim assist help you more or pick easier mode, but on normal with minor aim assist i was have lot trouble an got bored after dying a lot. i felt i could just watch the game on YouTube an be good.
