Summary: I bought the PC DVD version of this game. I played it for a couple of weeks. My Windows 8.1 needed to be reinstalled due to a corrupted operating system. When I attempted to re-install Max Payne 3 I received error "Product Key Already in Use." I attempted many times to contact Rockstar and they ignored my inquiries. It seems the purchase of the game on DVD only allows one install and does NOT allow any re-installs even if it is on the same computer.

Summary: Can't even play the game. Rockstar requires you to link to their "Social Club" before playing the game. The in game link is broken and there is no steam option in the browser version of the club. Avoid the game and other rockstar downloads.
Summary: Unable to play this game. Player must sign-up to a social club before game will start. The sign-up screen does not provide for a mouse cursor to position yourself to fill in "name", "email address", etc. After two hours of trial and error lmouse movements, I managed to create a membership. Still could not start the game, nor would the program recognize my membership the next time I tried. This is a stupid approach to computer games. Rockstar has hit a new low.
Summary: Unfortunately I never got a chance to play the game. Loaded the game and got an error message with the auto updater. Went to Rockstars web site and down loaded the latest patches for the game / launcher / social network. Get a Max Payne 3 encountered a problem and needs to shut down error message. Went back and " repaired " the installation. Same message. Uninstalled and tried reinstalling with all of the patches ( still had to go to the Rockstar web site.
Summary: when these sellers sell PC games online, thier not giving enough information as far as what your PC is required to have to run the game. Just saying Windows XP or Windows 2000 is not enough. how many GB of Ram is required could help a buyer make a better choice. Thats my opion.
Summary: Interesting game whenever it starts, because RS Social Club is required to connect in the begining. For me it has a percentage of under 50% chance to connect. The game is huge, around 15 Gb because cinematics play every 15 minutes of shooting.
