Wonderful trilogy, but incomplete

Michael W McVicker, Amazon
  • Summary: The Mass Effect games are some of the best realized and written science fiction media out there. Through the course of the three games you'll encounter some of the most unique and charming personalities in gaming. You'll laugh at them, pity them, hate them, and maybe even love them.

Mass Effect Trilogy is the perfect gift for anyone who wants to get into the franchise. Or purchase it for yourself!

M. Lopez, Amazon
16 June 2015
  • Summary: One of my favorite game franchise titles. It's hard not to fall in love with each character. Love their flaws. Mass Effect 1 is the starting point to the trilogy. It sets so many events in motion, gives your hero a cause. The gameplay is what I love most. It's the perfect science fiction plot.

The good, the bad, the ugly

Aximili, Amazon
29 May 2015
  • Summary: I was super excited to start playing Mass Effect back in 2012. I was getting ready to buy 1-2 when the online reaction hit about the ending. I read the spoilers and decided I would rather not spend $100+ on a franchise with such a terrible last installment.

Flawed collection, missing a lot of story DLC

Bogdan, Amazon
24 May 2015
  • Summary: Unfortunately missing all the nice DLC in ME2 and ME3, DLC that will set you back about $60 - and that is with just the essential story ones, not including the item packs. This is way more than the trilogy itself.

Badass or Heroic: The choice is yours

RKoston, Amazon
27 March 2015
  • Summary: If it wasn't for Mass Relays we wont have this series. Experience - This is a fun-filled, entertaining ride with enough wow moments to leave even John woo or Michael Bay gaping. Dont know why I made that reference but simply put this series is great whatever the ending (or edited ending).

Oh, so THAT'S why people don't like EA!

poopzilla, Amazon
4 March 2015
  • Summary: EDIT: ME1 is now working flawlessly. I changed a bunch of stuff at once, and I'm not sure what fixed it. My first guess is that disabling the Origin features like Origin in-game was what did it.

Bought it for $12 and absolutely love the trilogy

SpaceCore42, Amazon
1 March 2015
  • Summary: Bought it for $12 and absolutely love the trilogy. As stated by every other reviewer though, dlcs are mostly absent from 2 and 3. That wouldn't normally be a problem, but they never go on sale.

Hardcopy Made Useless

WINONA C., Newegg
24 February 2015
  • Summary: Wish I could buy newer games without the need for Steam or Origin to be installed.
  • Pros: The game itself, and Newegg, no problems there.
  • Cons: I prefer to have hardcopies of games, but I couldn't install ME 1 from CD. Tried 3 times over 6 hours and all attempts failed midway, over an hour into install. Was able to DL it with Origin in about 1 hour....If I wanted to DL the game I wouldn't have bought a hardcopy. Disappointed with EA and ...
