Summary: This game is based on the Napoleonic wars on a strategic level , It is similar to all their other games made just like them , it could be mistaken for a mod of one of their other games but it is still fun and well made , I like it alot. I also like Total Wars Napoleonic Wars with all the dlc which I bought on Steam so between these two games I have the Napoleonic wars covered. NOT for everyone.
Summary: This game lived up to my expectations that it would be a solid Napoleonic war game. March of the eagles focuses on army building and leading, so do not expect in depth characters like crusader kings 2. It lives up to what it set out to give you it is very addicting early on and although it does not have the length and replay value of other titles (and this has alot ) it is an overall good buy.
Summary: If you are familiar with Paradox and/or Ageod games then you should like this one. If not, it does require a commitment of time to understand the mechanics, interface and strategies necessary to enjoy the full depth of this account of the Napoleonic wars. It isn't a tactical game where you play out individual battles, it is a strategic game of manoever, recruitment, diplomacy, etc.
