Summary: This game is MOST CERTAINLY a competitor to Hearts of Iron at ANY level. The pros got it wrong this time as you can see from the USER reviews who've I've always believed give the TRUE HONEST reviews. There's too much greasing of palms in the other category of reviewing.
Summary: Pay no attention to the meta reviewers, they musta not got their palms greased like the other crap games they review and give 90's to like RTW. This is a great game. Must better than HOI of any level. It's turn based and the AI is better than HOI's anyday of the week.
Summary: What can I say about Making History? Interesting? Check. Realistic? Check. Fun? Check. Fun if you are interested in this genre, but if you are not you will find it a bore, but that is the same about anything.
Summary: When this game came out it was quite buggy but muzzy lane did a great job of cleaning all the major bugs up. For a game this complex you will have bugs but it's a matter of how the developer comes through in the end. This game is more then just a wargame simulation like the Hearts of Iron series.
Summary: I've tried a multitude of Grand Strategy games and this is the best one I've come by. Whether its the amazing attention to detail, the incredibly involved developers and community, or the feeling that you actually are a leader.
Summary: This game has come a long way from its release. All major bugs have been cleaned up by Muzzy Lane due to the caring they have for their customers. Even to this day, they're removing every last glitch, every minor problem in this game.
Summary: While this is a game that undoubtedly deserved its initial reviews, I would advise any critics of of to get the game patched and play again. They will find a much different game than the one they played back then. The main issues that have been repeated are on the technical side.
