Summary: I bought because I use to play majesty 1 which was made 7 years before.... Its a very good game but lacks.... idk i just think it wasnt fun enough for a 7 year gap, but still very fun game, vs other games like it i recommend this one
Summary: The game is a good. There are certain balance issues mainly around strategic game play. In the first one Majesty you could choose near any combo of temples and still be able to win any game unfortunately I have only found one way of winning and not multiple ways of winning the games. This causes a decent video gamer bored within a few hours.
Summary: This is a WONDERFUL game! If you like games such as Age of Empires and Black & White, you will love Majesty 2. I can play it for hours on end without getting bored. There is only ONE reason why I gave this game 4/5 instead of 5/5 stars. It just takes FOREVER to save a game! It takes maybe about 10 minutes to save it. I am an avid PC game player and I have NEVER had a game that took more than 30 seconds to save.
Summary: I really like this game, it was a lot of fun to play and has an amazingly interesting concept to it, the lack of individual control on the units can be annoying but any time playing games like the 'Sims' where the individual characters have autonomy makes it a minor issue at best.
Summary: I played the original. Majesty 2 was better graphically but did not seem to change much otherwise. That said I really enjoyed playing this game and want more. Was not able to finish the last scenario.
Summary: I bought this game because I loved the original. Obviously, the new game has better graphics, but it also focuses far more on heroes than the original, and many aspects of the game relating to heroes are improved. Most other aspects of the game are inferior to the original. Nonetheless, it is an entertaining game and well worth the price.
Summary: I was expecting this to be less a sequel and more a graphics update since the original came out so long ago but there was actually quite a few changes into the game. The quests are a lot more varied probably because the new game engine is much more advanced. The game ran pretty well, although it crashed a few times and on slower machines the game will start clipping 3/4ths of the way through a map (and forget about getting big cities of heroes like in the first majesty).
Summary: There just isn't much difference in this game and the original, except for the price. Save some $ and buy the [...] which is a 5 star classic and a crazy value now. If you played the original and want to buy the new, it's the same game, same classes as the original, each level is going to feel like a repeat, but some are very challenging. I enjoyed it but wish they'd taken it to the next level.
