Magic the Gathering Online

The Gamers Temple
2 November 2008
  • Excerpt: Magic The Gathering, the collectible card game, has built itself a strong and loyal following over the almost ten years since its release.  Chances are you might have heard of the game at some point, even if you haven't played it yourself.  Now it has made the transition to the PC in a game that tries to preserve the best elements of the original.

GIN
5 March 2003
  • Excerpt: I'll make this clear up front: I'm not a great advocate of 'collectible card games.' I've played Magic: The Gathering and some of the other ones. Magic: The Gathering – Duels of the Planeswalkers 2013 PC Review

DarkZero
13 July 2012
  • Excerpt: Card games are hard for me to get into. I’m sure I am not alone regarding reasons why people decide not to pick up and play them. My problems are, firstly, is that I need to find people close to me who already play or are willing to buy some decks and play with me. The second is that I am a stingy git and I don’t like the idea of shelling out quite a bit of money (in my eyes) on expensive, shiny pieces of card that might not even get used that much.
