Summary: like magic encyclopedia seri from the first serie until this illussion - fact that this is the first hidden object I played which make me falling in love with all hidden object games :) eventhough I'm a bit confuse with this 'tricky' illusion scene ( real one and illussion one) , this games is enjoyable
Summary: I've played the previous releases of Magic Encyclopedia and this one wasn't that bad. It kept me interested throughout which was a good thing. Graphics was ok and on par with the previous games. Same for the music, ambient sound, animation and effects. I liked using the spells to look for items in 'another dimension'. Gameplay although can be confusing, it was fun and this game was rather long because some parts were quite challenging and took a long time to complete.
Summary: This is one of the most boring games i ever played. What a shame for the developers! They had something real special with "Magic Encyclopedia" and with "Magic Encyclopedia 2" - but they did not understand how it worked. They created it - it seems - by accident in place of thoughtful development. What a shame for the developers! They should study their first two games and try to UNDERSTAND, why these worked so well and this one so badly!
Summary: I was very underwhelmed by this game. Unlike some of the reviewers, I wasn't really a huge fan of the first games, but neither did I feel this level of apathy toward them either. The idea to have some things hidden in a different realm or whatever was ok at first, but scene after scene of having to look it over once then put on your glasses and do so again was just tiring.
Summary: Magic Encyclopedia 3 ! This is a game I've been expecting. the first two in the series were great, with an interesting story and beautiful tradicional art ( which I love). This one however could be an entirly diferent game as far as I'm concerned. The Artwork looked completly diferent from the previous ME. Some scenes looked decent enough but others almost looked incomplete. I found the finding and placement of objects irregular .
Summary: I give it an A-- or 4.25 if you prefer. This is strictly an adventure-FOG by which I mean all FOs are used in gameplay. The developers added a clever twist in that you could locate FOs in both "real" & "illusion" mode in the same scene. Mini-games were nothing new, and mostly easy. Graphics were clear but cartoonish, rendering some FOs difficult to see, and there were too many small FOs.
Summary: Great game. Absolutely brilliant ideas enveloped in perfect graphic style and additive game play. Just love it! Don't listen to those who complaining of hint system. I never use hints and always use my head. If you like when a game take you by your hand and walk you over like a stupid child, maybe this is not your best choice. But if you like to give your gray cells something to work on... well, in that case Illusions is must have game for you.
