Summary: Omg, this is now my favourite game ever. Sure, it may be cheesy, but it's awesome. The storyline is good but I personally didn't really like the ending. The graphics were awesome, bright, colourful and everything. The characters suited their personalities- not to mention Damon ;) everything was excellent in this game. Loved it and I hope there is a sequel or more games similar to this. It was disappointing at the end because that was it..
Summary: Nice little game. The voice acting was fun. I liked that the bronze/gold leaves had a purpose at the end. I really loved the story, and the voice acting to it was a nice charming surprise. It was magical in its own sort of way. The puzzles were fun yet challenging. I like how it switched you between the views. And I'm certainly hoping and looking forward to a possible sequel!!
Summary: This is a truly fun game. The story is good, logical and easy to follow. The graphics are good, the music is OK and doesn't intrude on the game and there is not too much backtracking. Also, it's not too dark both graphically and in the story as this can get a bit tedious and overdone. There are definite chapters to the game so you know when you have finished a level of the game. No need to go back too many screens to find things.
Summary: This is among the best HOGs I've ever played. First, the production value's absolutely amazing -- fabulous visuals, nice music, good voice acting, the works. It's way up there with the "big boys". More importantly, and unlike a lot of other HOGs I've played, I found the level of challenge in this game perfectly well balanced: it wasn't too hard and never got frustrating, but I actually had to think.
Summary: Pretty good HOG game. Good graphics & artwork but not the best because some scenes require further 'polishing'. Some items may be a bit tiny or blurry. As for the music soundtrack, it was original and sounded good - gave a dramatic feel overall. The ambient sound, effects & animation are all rather good too. I liked the story because it kept me interested, thus I didn't want to stop playing. The voice acting was alright too.
Summary: From the hero to the player, everyone gets bitten by something in this fabulous game. For the hero, that's (obviously) not so good. For the player, it's not so bad most of the time. Pros: -- a coherent storyline that flows well -- the voiceovers, when used, are decent quality and there are no dialogue boxes with abbreviated dialogue running with them to distract you -- beautiful, clear graphics - no grainy, fuzzy scenes here -- the gameplay is smooth and fairly...
Summary: Ok, well I didn't give it the top score because I was quite disappointed with the ending, even though I admit it does give a good opening for a sequel, which I hope will be more satisfying. I did enjoy the game though, the mini-game in the seers hut where you make a potion was really fun and being a guilty vampire van I enjoyed the plot...again though, I wish it could have ended better...or more hopefully at least..
Summary: I finally finished this game today. I think I wasn't as eager to get to the end of this game because I knew (from other reviews) there would be a cliffhanger ending - and boy was it a cliffhanger! The game was very high quality, but there were a couple major issues I had. PROS: Lots of variety in the scenery, and I like the twists they threw into the HOG, putting 2 objects together.
Summary: Thanks to the reviews here, I decided to give this game a try, even though the title of it (to me, anyway) was offputting. When the demo was over, I couldn't wait to buy it. The story is coherent, the voices match the characters, and there's a fair amount of going back-and-forth to different places, which I love..
