Excerpt: I acquired Lost Planet: Extreme Condition fairly recently, and have never regretted the purchase. The game has an excellent plotline, is full of excellently balanced and well conceived mechanics.
Pros: Excellent campaign, decent multiplayer, good mech system
Cons: Getting older all the time, losing activity; PC controls a bit iffy
Lost Planet - the most realistic winter you can see in-game

Excerpt: I'll start from the bad thing: the story. It's just weak. The main protagonist's father has died in another planet so he goes there to get revenge. What's worse? The fact that he has amnesia (reminds me of Memento). The other bad thing is the X360 gamepad.
Pros: The graphics, sounds, playability, it's long, cheap enough for awesomeness .
Summary: Bought this game understanding that Games For Windows Live was now defunct but expected to still be able to play the single player game. Game won't start, You get the launcher window to choose which DX to launch game and then nothing.
Summary: Almost as bad a port to PC as Halo 2 was. Controls handle slightly better but all the in-game prompts for the controls are x-box still! This is especially annoying when piloting a VS, as many of them have different abilities and the only way to learn how to control them is experimentation, Which...
Summary: when we viewed this title we looked as hard as we could for a full breakdown of the PC specifications needed to run this game , but could not find one, so hoping that our family PC met the specs.
It's not good, it's not bad...it's not for everyone.

Summary: First of all, the story is not good and it's also not bad. It's just simple and blend story. The location put you on random ice planet that has alien life form, but not intelligent aliens, just animal aliens. So your enemy is not an alien, but it's a human just like you.
Summary: Really good game, story is lengthy, there are a lot of modes to choose from to keep you occupied. 4 difficulties to play the game in. Graphically, it is stunning, on the most high-tech machines every texture to shadow to detail will blow you away. Wide range of guns, weapons.
Not bad, for your typical korean mech transformer type of game.

Summary: im not going into the securom part of the show but that looses a star automatically. im going to focus on the game instead, i was expecting it to be like quake 4 or some other fps shooter, but it's 3rd person much like splinter cell, a limited selection of weapons and mech walkers, the plot of the...
Conclusion: This game is ok. A standard shoot 'em up with various camera views, explosions and firefight frenzys. People say the gfx are far better on the pc and so they should be, with ever upgradeable cards they shall always surpass consoles.
Conclusion: I am halfway through the game at the moment and its been a good ride so far, enemies are cool, graphics are brilliant, using a direct x 10 graphics card makes a lot of difference, this game includes the direct x 9 and 10 versions, you will need steam and an internet connection to play even in...
