  • Summary: After doing my own research on Lost Planet 3, ignoring all the reviews (99% miss the whole point in LP3) here is a good bad bullet point style assessment. I'll try not to give any spoilers away. Good: The Story. Without a doubt, there is a story in LP3 and its a interesting one given to you both as you progress through the game and spoon fed via audio and text logs you can discover.

  • Summary: What's with the bad reviews? I waited to buy this until I was able to purchase it for $20 because the reviews were so lousy, yet this is the best game in the Lost Planet series. Lost Planet 1 was mediocre, Lost Planet 2 was flat out bad, but Lost Planet 3 is like a love letter to Aliens inspired by elements of Dead Space 1 with hub environments, side quests, interactivity within the hub What's with the bad reviews?

  • Summary: Lost Planet 2, was a criminally underrated gem. Just about everything in it was nigh-flawless: beautiful and varied scenery, impressively detailed characters and creatures, some of the greatest boss battles I've ever played, a variety of exciting missions, gunplay that's tight at best and tolerable at worst, and much more. For the follow-up, Lost Planet 3, all of that was removed. Now, Lost Planet 2, was a criminally underrated gem.

  • Summary: Lost Planet 3, it looked so promising, a game who could had redeemed the franchise reputation but it ended in failure but not all is lost. The story takes place before the events of the first Lost Planet game, it tells the story of the first few human colonists on the iced planet E.D.N.

  • Summary: the story mode is just as good as the previous two lost planets. this game works on my windows 8 computer which is great and smooth. i recommend buying an xbox controller or ps3 controller. if you buy a ps3 controller make sure to download motionjoy software for free. just google it and its an easy setup. the game arrived sooner than i expected which was great. the game isnt bad well worth the 20$ if you like shooting games with a great story mode.

  • Summary: There is nothing really wrong with this game, on a alarming amount of glitches and bugs. The problem with this game is that it is just boring as it takes now new concepts are ideas and instead is very generic with standard graphics, undeveloped characters which have no development through out the campaign leaving with nothing and no memory's to take away from it.

  • Summary: I'll spend 150 characters to explain that if you click on the shining review by Jinxie you can see that the only 3 games this person has ever reviewed are all the various versions of this game, it's clear then to everyone 2 things 1. this person had a part in making this game because this is a game which could only be rated highly by the games mother 2.

  • Summary: Although your generic third-person shooter, the story is very well written and worth the price of admission. If you're like me and like a mature story-based game versus how much carnage you can do then this game is worth your cash. It makes you want to see the ending.
