Summary: Artwork & graphics were great. Music was ok too but sometimes was repetitious. Sound, effects & animation were good too. As for story, there wasn't much there except that the main character was in a hot air balloon and crash landed on the island. Then it was searching through the wreckage and coincided with dream scenes. I couldn't quite follow as the story development did not do well.
Summary: A very MEH game with an ok concept and ok graphics, but definatly nothing that stood out. The storyline especially seemed to make little to no sense at times and even as you progress, nothing that you're doing makes sense in terms of getting off the island or escaping. You start out not knowing where you are or even who you are (which isn't a new concept) but gradually finding out what you're doing on this island.
Summary: Short, not boring but not exciting either, in fact a pretty standard HOG. The story made me groan as the character is totally dense (not as dumb as the woman in Odin's eye but she is the very best of the worst!) and there is not much of it anyway. But my main complain is deeply personal. I am fed up with being stranded on tropical islands or buried in Mayan temples and/or Egyptian tombs.
Summary: This was an "okay" game. I always appreciate the efforts of the makers of these games. I will always like the Hidden Objects portion of the games and like the inventive efforts of a variety of puzzles. I never like to "bash" a game for as the saying goes "one man's trash is another man's treasure. Play, enjoy.
Summary: Wow, after reading the reviews I thought it was going to be abysmal, but I give a B. It's true it doesn't really break any new ground in the HOG/adventure category, but still delivers a solid, if shortish, game. It has good graphics, beautiful scenery, no voice-acting but skippable dialogue, pleasant music, and a confusing storyline. The dream sequences make little sense, but are unoffensive. It's about 75/25 Straight HOG/adventure.
Summary: This game was worthless. I thought there might be SOME redeeming qualities but boy, was I wrong. There was absolutely nothing to hold my interest and it didn't even seem apparent during the course of the game that I was trying to accomplish something. Everything was very simplistic and would probably be fun for a "newbie" HOG player but forget it if you're looking for even a little bit of a challenge. A huge thumbs down for this one. Giving it one star was being kind.
Summary: I tried to get into this game, but after giving the demo a whirl, I decided, no way. The graphics are good, but that was about it. I found it incredibly boring: Find the usual stuff, yadda, yadda, yadda. Yawn. Nothing new here, for me.
Summary: I have played through "Lost Lagoon: The Trail of Destiny" and I enjoyed it very much! In regards to the pros of the GameZebo review I can only say yes, nice graphics, and nice music. But to the cons, I saw no problems with the English texts (curly whirly? not in my game version) and the time was IMHO also pretty standard for nowadays HO games! To sum it up: Nice entertainment for the price (BFG), let's see if there will be a sequel!
Summary: I loved the game and the graphics were beautiful. The special games were a little bit of a challenge; but, were really not too hard to solve. Great directions. I wish I had had more than an hour to try this out. It was fun; and can hardly wait to play the whole game. It was easy to find articles because all the scenes were bright and you had no problem finding anything. I hope others enjoyed this game as much as I did.
