Summary: Wanted to like this game but unable. Although it had pretty nice graphics, gameplay was confusing & tedious. Couldn't determine which colour of the watch does what. Found myself lost & wandering most of the time. Puzzles were boring. Disliked collecting diamonds and coal pieces, where I can use the coal on the converter machine to diamonds - it was just boring. Navigating the scenes were slow & laborious.
Summary: ok so when i try to go to the museum it wont let me. i clicked all over the train but it does nothing. ive already checked if i missed anything but by the walktrough i havent. i dont know what to do any help?
Summary: What a GREAT game. Not so much a HOG, but rather an adventure game with hidden object scenes thrown in. I don´t know why I missed this game when it first came out end of December, but I did. I stumbled over it yesterday, and bought it after playing the demo for 40 minutes. (Just an explanation as to why I only now write a review). ;) The graphics are very well done, and the gameplay is just great.
Summary: This game could be better if it wasn't for the endless dialogue that appears in boxes that you have to click to close. I'm not sure what's worse, the annoying voices of the characters or the extremely terrible dialogue. I had to mute the sound of the actors because Eliza's accent is beyond irritating. It's just so fake. And the cutesy banter between her and the watch gets old very fast. Quite often, my clicks didn't "take.
Summary: I loved this game! It did not follow the dark, tortured, intense theme of the majority of games lately. It was light hearted with a nicely written story that was interesting. The artwork was gorgeous and intricately drawn. There could have been a tutorial to get the player started on what to do with the pocket watch; eventually I figured it out. But there are still areas that are confusing and not clear, even with the walkthru.
Summary: I was looking forward to playing a game that was a little different. Sorry to tone it down a bit, maybe it was just too different! It took me a while to figure out how to use the watch in its many modes. I must confess I got annoyed quite a few times, especially at the beginning. You play as Eliza, who damages her village's clocktower mechanism, which affects time and people around her, and must fix the situation with the help of a guide, a young man's talking image...
Summary: Wonderful game. Not the normal "Mystery" novel found on BFG nowadays. Finally something different, but familiar. Loved the artwork, theme, puzzles ( not too hard and not too easy ), story and voiceovers. A very much deserved 5 stars.
