Great game, but using the keyboard as a controller ...

Susan Hankins, Amazon

  • Summary: Great game, but using the keyboard as a controller was a challenge. (Although I was able to make it to the end faster than with a handheld controller.)

  • Summary: Limbo is a very good game, however its major drawback is the length of the game. Its worth the purchase price, but if your looking for a game that will have hours and hours of replay value; you may want to look somewhere else.

Beautiful indie game

Jensen Bagwell, Amazon
4 July 2012
  • Summary: Limbo is a remarkable experience that any game fan should experience. "The boy" is a nearly fearless protagonist that runs straight into a world of darkness to save his sister. The game is a puzzle based platformer that always changes and makes you think about even the simple things for a solution.

  • Summary: Atmospheric, clever and challenging. The controls are tight and it makes a nice use of physics .It requires quick reactions, and you will die a lot, and the game is based on learning from your mistakes.A forgiving checkpoint prevents the game from getting frustrating A great game overall.

20 August 2011
  • Summary: Interesting platform-puzzled gameplay. It was fun while it lasted (super short). I did have a problem with the "storytelling portion." The game gave no background of what was going on except for the game details in the Steam store.

  • Summary: Turning the limitations of a small Indy game into a strength, Limbo is short but fun, has a memorable art style and is a must play downloadable game. The visuals of Limbo are simple and effectively create an eerie atmosphere better than most AAA video games.

"An enjoyable game which provides a point of difference"

Suzanne, Mighty Ape
24 December 2013
  • Summary: This is a game with a mood of its own, with puzzles which will challenge you and moments which may make you gasp out loud. I really enjoyed playing something different than the RPGs and shooters I frequent. There's no talking, just a score which sets the mood and muted black and white scenery.

Good for the price but not the best SE in the world.

Adam, Amazon
10 December 2010
  • Summary: I've got the game on XBLA and loved it, who cares if it's a bit short. Quality not quantity. The contents are good, not the best. The 3D glasses are a bit cheap but the sticker is good although it has no stroke so if your sticking it on something black you won't notice it.

Riffan, Amazon
10 December 2010
  • Summary: Gaming today often has too much to it, complications, a lot of noise and a lot questions, sometimes simplicity serves better. And LIMBO is simple, very simple, perfectly effective.
