Summary: Just what my son wanted. He was a BETA tester for this when it was first released. He fell in love whit LEGO'S and this game. We have looked local for this and could not find it. The servers are now off line, not really sure why he wanted it. It was an excellent game that was age appropriate for anyone.
Summary: Overall, Lego Universe is a great game. I had the chance to Beta Test the game and even then with all the bugs it was one of the best games I have played on the PC. Pros: 1. You can chat with friends in a safe environment (moderators and chat filters) if you are worried for young kids. 2. Space to build with bricks and models (on 5 different property spaces)that you collect in-game and then allow friends and other players to come and see it. 3.
Summary: I'm surprised that so many people ordered this game not realizing they would have to pay a monthly fee. My only other experience with an MMO game was Club Penguin, so I assumed this game would charge a monthly fee like that one. The first month is free, then you have to decide if you want to pay each month and continue. I signed my son up for a 6 month subscription because it's a little cheaper that way.
Summary: Have you ever wondered about a game made entirely out of lego? wonder no more because they have it! in lego universe you do numerous amounts of missions, build legos have your own proptery that you can build on, TONS of items and gear, and the best part, it is full customizable! I recomend this to any lego fan that likes computers! In a rating of 1 through 10 this game would get a 20!!
Summary: My son loves this game, and he loves the chat feature. The game is challenging for him and helps his reading and problem solving skills with the missions. Another plus is the music -- it borders on being classical and is very enriching -- not the be-boop doot doot doot mindless noise like with other games
