Summary: Sadly, I give this a BIG 0 for ratings. We were sold a disc that could NOT be used, due to the web site being discontinued. When we called the lady who sent it to us, she NEVER returned our 2 calls.
Summary: This game was really fun and interesting when I first got it. However once I'd completed all the quests and done everything there was to do, I felt indescribably bored. Apart from building, which is nowhere near as good as it is in Lego's digital designer, there really is nothing to do except try to collect bricks. Overall, Lego Universe seems good to start with but then just peters out into boredom.
Summary: This game is epic whenever I fight the maelstorm I actually felt like I was saving the universe, the game is a little easy but in a very fun way you can choose any up to four great classes to help you save the universe, its a real shame that it shut down but by today its still memorable game we will never forget it will be in our hearts forever.
Summary: Just what my son wanted. He was a BETA tester for this when it was first released. He fell in love whit LEGO'S and this game. We have looked local for this and could not find it. The servers are now off line, not really sure why he wanted it. It was an excellent game that was age appropriate for anyone.
Summary: Unless you want to collect a bit of history, pass on any Lego Universe software here or elsewhere. Although it was a great online experience for any Lego fan, Lego shut down the Universe back in January 2012.
Summary: Lego Universe Early Thoughts: The game itself is a lot what I expected: It's EXTREMELY MMO-Lite. But the presentation is very fun and "cute", and the game play mechanics are fairly solid. There's a lot more focus on doing other little things like exploring than there is on straight up combat (Combat is probably the "weakest"mechanic, but extremely simple).
Summary: Woot! Finnally a good Lego game! The game looks brilliant, the gameplay is simple, building is simple, and it's easy to get into. Gripes - How do you review someones imagination, kinda tough. Monster grinding is too repetetive. So, it's basically Babies first MMORPG. Theres no RPG elements so youngsters can easily upgrade themselves instead of being confused about the difference between the "Agility" and "Speed" stat. Babies first MMORPG. Simple!
