Summary: Shipped on time. Haven't personally played it yet but it has worked well for my sister so far. She loves it. One of the improvements she mentioned to me is the enormity of the game. In other games, there is usually a limit to where you can go but in this one it seems to be limitless. Or at least much bigger.
Summary: If you enjoy lego games or just like lord of the rings then this game is a must for your collection. It follows the movie storyline and is very funny at times and the puzzles are fun and keep you engaged in the game even after you finish the storyline. Great game to play casually or to kill time.
Summary: If you haven't ever played/purchased a Lego game I would highly recommend this one. The game play is funny and sticks to the story. Lots Lots Lots to explore and collect. Definitely lose track of time if you start this game up.
Summary: Lego games are my guilty pleasure. The Star Wars and Harry Potter games are my top picks. This one was pretty boring and the game play was clunky. I would skip it if you want to continue liking the franchise.
Like all Lego games, gets a little old before you beat it

Summary: Bought this to play couch coop on the PC with my girlfriend. We both had a lot of fun until about the Death Marshes when the gameplay started to get as stale as the corpse-infested water. It was pretty fun up to that point though!
Summary: As a person who grew up with the "old school" LEGOs, seeing this game has brought my LEGO experience full circle. The game beautifully captures (and humorizes) the LOTR Trilogy and still maintains the original story line. Sub-missions and quests keep the game from being boring and allows you to take a "break" from the ultimate quest to Mordor. The game has definitely expanded the options of characters from the earlier Star Wars and Indiana Jones LEGO games.
Summary: First of all, this an absolutely terrible pc port. The controls are awful, especially considering that pc should have better ones. They also make it incredibly frustrating to play the game - there are a whole bunch of new features, like the treasure trove, and they're a lot harder to deal with than the controls for lego star wars, say. The AI for the second player is also pretty bad (worse than other lego games) which adds to the frustration.
