Even the LATEST 3.0 update has glitches rendering the game un-playable
18 September 2013
Summary: I only played this game for 15 minutes and in that time I encountered a glitch that does not allow me to move forward in the game.. at all. And be warned, if you do NOT have an internet connection you, obviously, will not be able to install the "patch/update" and I hear it is was worse than having the 3.0 update.
Summary: Don't waste your money on this. Go out and buy any other Lego game because this one was absolutely horrible. This was so bad that I wouldn't recommend this game to my dog or anyone or thing that I hate.
Summary: I bought this game back in January because I thought it would be cute and I am a fan of Harry Potter. How dumb I was to blow $40 bucks on a poor excuse of a game! It has so many glitches, the game play is terrible; you literally have to walk through Hogwarts to get to the next level each time. The magic control is lousy, you have to scroll through different spells to get the one you want.
Summary: I want to like it. But since I can't finish it unless I get the patch (which doesn't exist) why should I give it a good review? I'm not buying HP 5-7 unless they fix the problem with HP 1-4. Can't get into Gringott's vault to unlock Voldemort and collect the last 10 gold bricks. It's a glitch. They won't fix it. I'm not buying anymore lego videogames until they send me a patch. Yep, it's a PS3 too.
Summary: Story short, this game should never have been released when it was. Instead, they should've taken a couple more months to make sure they'd fixed everything. Longer story? I am a huge Harry Potter fan. I've played other Lego games before and when I heard a Harry Potter one was coming out, I was thrilled. I waited months for the release, went out and got it at midnight the day it came out, and was super excited, absolutely ecstatic.
Summary: I'm like so many others who have problems with this game, but I'm not sufficiently able to get around the bugs. My game has frozen after the first Quidditch match in year 1. I'm still playing the free play I've been able to open and the bonus games in Gringotts, but I'm very disappointed. I haven't been able to contact any tech support and probably wouldn't be able to correct the situation any way.
Summary: I have spent hours on this game and was loving it. Then the mother of all glitches. I need to get into the Griffndor room and the fat lady just keeps singing. When you approach her with a non-griffindor then she locks down. The problem is most of the time there is nothing you can do it make her stop singing and let you in. I have tried all the "fixes" that people claim to have worked and nothing. This is the worst Lego game so far.
Summary: i have played all of the lego games on the psp and 10/10 but the harry potter game on psp is sh.... sorry but the one on wii.ps3.xbox360 are awesome dont by lego harry potter psp game if do gat a refund i hope i make myself usfull thank by anty lego harry potter psp dude
Summary: Our family owns most of the LEGO games for the PC so we've come to expect some minor tech issues but LEGO Harry Potter is ridiculously bug-ridden. I can't recommend this game because of the lack of quality control and TT's categorical refusal to issue any patches. The game was released nearly half a year ago and they don't even address the issue on their site much less offer any fixes.
Summary: If i were you i would wait until this game is about 14.99. hate the game has a bunch of freezes trophies dont always unlock and the patches that are released to fix them dont work either. would not recomend paying to much for this game. the developer Travlers Tales hate you and children and just want your money.
