Summary: When I heard that another Left 4 Dead was coming out, I knew that I must have my hands on a copy. I saw the trailers, which still had the same *** look as the first, except in New Orleans with different characters. By the way, Valve did an excellent job with the trailers. There isn't really a story to the "campaigns", like the first, but this is one of the few shooters that (while I have played it a thousand times over, like the first), it doesn't get old as fast as,...
Summary: the title pretty much says it, this game should have been an expansion. This game is to similar to the original left4dead, pretty much all they added were a couple of new guns ,( which pretty much all did the same damage), melee weapons, (which were cool dont get me wrong) new characters,(that dont even have their own special attributes) and it was way gorier. thats pretty much it, if you bought it new it was a waste of 60 bucks.
Summary: This game is unquestionably addicting, but not the best zombie shooter. This new game Left 4 Dead 2 looks almost exactly like Left 4 Dead. The graphics are about the same, some new zombies, melee weapons added, new weapons (firearms), and new characters. One thing that I do not like in Left 4 Dead 2 is that there is poor animations to the firearms and melee weapons. Even Call of Duty and Medal of Honor has better animations for the firearms.
Summary: The game itself is good but the characters are slightly annoying. I wish they would have just continued to use the characters from the first because I really can't stand the stupid things these characters say. If you can ignore the characters, though. It's a good game. The addition of more special infected has made it a lot more interesting and made versus mode a lot more challenging.
Summary: The game is a blast to play, but it doesn't creep me out like the original. Nothing seems scary. It's more of an action game than a horror/shooter. It's a good action game, but some of the magic is gone. Please, Valve, bring back the spooky.
Summary: Valve creates a game which provides an interface which is easy to pick up and quick to learn. You can play alone or join up easily with others online to plow your way through zombies. There is no paper manual at all in the DVD case. It could have used a simple quick reference guide. Graphics are good, game is fun, replay value is also quite good. It's a good reprieve from my World of Warcraft withdrawal.
Summary: Well... since I bought the first left 4 dead i was amazed. there hasn't really been a zombie game like this that i would enjoy. i played alot with the story, survival, and of course versus mode. when i heard the sequel was coming out i knew i had to buy it. but first i played the demo and it was great.before i was about to buy it, it just seemed like an expansion or mod rather than a whole new game. and i also thought how can I play this over CoD:MW2.
