Summary: When I heard that another Left 4 Dead was coming out, I knew that I must have my hands on a copy. I saw the trailers, which still had the same *** look as the first, except in New Orleans with different characters. By the way, Valve did an excellent job with the trailers. There isn't really a story to the "campaigns", like the first, but this is one of the few shooters that (while I have played it a thousand times over, like the first), it doesn't get old as fast as,...
Summary: This game is very violent, very bloody and gory. But it's a game where you're killing zombies, what do you expect? That being said, what a game, what a game. It's all I can say about this. To sum this up, this is an over the top, intense, first person zombie shooter that's everything that the first left 4 dead should have been. First, the setting, stories, characters, etc. So this time around you're playing in a southern area, around Louisiana, Mississippi, etc.
Summary: The game is a blast to play, but it doesn't creep me out like the original. Nothing seems scary. It's more of an action game than a horror/shooter. It's a good action game, but some of the magic is gone. Please, Valve, bring back the spooky.
Summary: Valve creates a game which provides an interface which is easy to pick up and quick to learn. You can play alone or join up easily with others online to plow your way through zombies. There is no paper manual at all in the DVD case. It could have used a simple quick reference guide. Graphics are good, game is fun, replay value is also quite good. It's a good reprieve from my World of Warcraft withdrawal.
Summary: This game looked really great, especially since I didn't have it, and seemed to be a great successor to L4D; it pretty much is, but I guess it either doesn't have that same pull or I'm just not playing that often (probably the latter, the game's good) Overall, there's a whole bunch of new words to describe the same fun-ssa formula, the melee weapons really do change the whole way the game is played, and, honestly, it helps the infected out since the enemy may now not...
Summary: Black Friday came and went , and so was a opportunity to snag this title for $20 less than retail mfg price. If you liked the first game and wanted an upgrade , and a change of scenery look no further , your game has arrived. If your looking for a deep experience in gaming sorry this isnt it , the single player camnpaign can be completed in less than 90 minutes , and that was on medium.
Summary: I love the original L4D. I love this sequel. Over and over again, as I play online with my buddies, one of us will remark about how this game doesn't feel like a rushed release, but a game that took an awesome base (L4D) and truly added some meat to those bones. This game feels like a major upgrade from an already great game.
